industry. florida avenue at connecticut, stephen? that this is what we know. the woman was believed to have been in the crosswalk. if you look behind me, you can see the cross walk to the position where the bus ended. obviously if she was struck in the crosswalk, that was a severe impact. we understand she was transported to george washington university hospital in serious condition with life- threatening injuries. we have a crew examining the bus trying to determine exactly what happened. we know it happened about 8:30 in the morning. this is a very busy area for pedestrians and people coming in and out of the district into the bus was heading north on connecticut avenue, turned into florida avenue, and that is when it struck the pedestrian. if we come back alive, i want to show you there is a camera up here on this sign here that should be able(anz to determine whether or not the woman did indeed have the crosswalk, whether the bus ran the crosswalk when it struck her. very preliminary information. we do understand the woman is in port washington university hospital right now fighting for

. in particular, we have widespread disease in georgia, alabama, mississippi and florida, among the southeastern states. we are aware of 24 schools that dismissed students on frida because of influenza, and more than -- about 25000 students that were dismissed because of the flu. so it is still around. is causing increased disease and it is time to pay attention. we do expect there to be a lot of variability with influenza this fall. we have a few states that are affected right now and we need to wait and see what happens elsewhere, but there is a lot that each of us can do to prepare and be rdy when the influenza appears in our own communitie. we saw a lot of variability last spring so expect more going into the fall. we wish we could predict exactly what is going to happen, but unfortunately we cannot. we do know that the virus is unchanged from a we saw in the spring. and what circulate in the sohern hemisphere. and that is good news, because it means that the vaccines that were working on right now should be very good matches with the h1n1 virus that is circulating. so that is good news. the

that is underway right now in naples, florida. a man murdered his entire family. they have been looking for him. >> a school bus goes into the water and in taxes. this is outside the dallas metro. there were 24 little kids on this bus. oddly enough, it was the swim team that ended up in the pond. while about half a dozen kids are being taken to the hospital, it is simply as a precaution. no visible injuries for any of those kids. their driver is being taken to the hospital as a precaution so they can look him over for a double check. the swim team on this bus on its way back from the aquatics goes into the pond. we do not have details on what may have caused this accident. you can plainly see the empty bus sitting in the river. some of the kids were taken back to school. about five children were taken to precaution. this is outside the dallas metro. high-school students from the swim team up reportedly going to be ok this morning. what an irony. a good thing for them that everyone is ok. jane: that is unbelievable. right now, we are awaiting the court appearances of terror suspects in two diffe
